'Russian Doll' posting

Today I'm linking from this blog to a posting on another blog, which is all about 'Writing Better Blog Posts':
http://theedublogger.com/2011/04/18/writing-better-blog-posts-what-you-need-to-know/

For some reason this reminds me of Russian Dolls:

Anyway, the first tip you get on 'better blog posts' is a fetching title, and hopefully I've achieved this?
Another tip is not to use copyrighted images - the image above is from a site selling such things, and therefore needs to be replaced as quick as  possible with my own image of Russian Dolls.

  1. Glad you liked my post and hope it helps you!

Writing attention grab titles is my archilles heel and I'll often grab other people to help me. Some people write the title before the post while I'll come back and write it at the end.

In the cae of my post here were the options we considered:
    1. What You NEED to Know about Writing better blog posts
    2. Learn what you need to know about writing blog posts
And off course the title we went with.

How big an impact can it make? Well professional bloggers will spend quite a bit of time on their blog tilte because it can impact on how popular the post is.

Best of luck with your blogging!

  2. Thank you very much for your kind encouragement! Do you think I should urgently change the title of my blog? It's attention grabbing, but I wasn't quite serious about it, just wanted to experiment. Now I'm thinking I was perhaps a bit too light-hearted about it ...
